Barb and Mat Gustafson proudly wear many hats. When you go to their charming tasting room on the main street in Graton (you won’t miss it), you’ill likely find Barb behind the counter. Mat formerly was the winemaker for Dutton Estate and Moshin, and now focuses on their own brand, Their fruit is sourced from vineyards in the surrounding Green Valley in the Russian River Valley.
. The tasting room offers not only wine tasting but also relaxing in the backyard and hosted events, such as off-site meetings. They offer charcuterie plates with cheese and bread all sourced from local producers.
Mat has been making wine for decades abd is committed to low input winemaking. This process, of using native yeast is slower yet produces wine lush on the palate with seamless flavors He speaks very frankly about the industry and all of the deceptive practices for marketing purposes.

Mat was the winemaker for Dutton Estate 2000 - 2009.
What should we know about your about your viticultural or winemaking practices?
All native yeast, small vineyards, made by Mat since 1999
What is your tasting fee, and can it be applied to wine purchases?
$40 tasting fee, waived with 2 bottle purchase per person
What are average retail prices of your wines?
$40 - $65

We are small, no out of state sales other than wine club. Winery direct 100%

one dish dinners, lots of kale. Crab & mushroom season are huge for us
